Pro Tips for Perfect Pockets

• Avoid oversoaking your rice paper. A quick dip is enough.

• Let the spinach cool before mixing to avoid excess moisture.
• Try vegan alternatives like tofu feta or dairy-free mozzarella for a plant-based version.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about this Crispy Rice Paper Pockets

Can I use frozen spinach instead of fresh?
Yes. Thaw it completely, squeeze out any excess water, and measure about 200 g (7 oz) before mixing.
How do I keep rice paper from tearing?
Soak it briefly and handle it gently. Work on a damp surface to prevent sticking or tearing.
Can I make these ahead of time?
Yes. You can assemble the pockets in advance and refrigerate them for up to 24 hours before baking.
Can these be made vegan?
Yes. Replace the egg with a flax egg and use vegan mozzarella and feta.
How do I reheat them?
Reheat them in the oven or air fryer until crisp. Avoid microwaving, as it can soften the rice paper.
