About Aylin Cooks

I was born in France in 2000, into a warm and lively Turkish family with three sisters. My father was a business owner, and my mother was a homemaker. Family was at the heart of everything, from long dinners filled with laughter to the comforting smell of home-cooked meals that always brought us together.

The Spark

One of my earliest and most defining memories goes back to when I was eight. I woke up early one morning determined to surprise my family with a chocolate cake. I had no idea how to use the oven, so I had to wake my mom up for help, but when we finally took the cake out, it was delicious. That moment changed something in me. I realized how powerful food can be, how a simple creation could bring happiness and connection. That was the beginning of my love for cooking.

Growing Up

I spent my childhood in a small rural town in France, surrounded by fields and mountains. Life there was peaceful and grounding. I loved exploring outdoors, riding my bike, climbing haystacks, and inventing games with friends. Those early years taught me curiosity, creativity, and an appreciation for the simple things.

Balancing two cultures, Turkish at home and French outside, wasn’t always easy, but it gave me resilience and a unique sense of identity that continues to shape who I am today.

Architecture, Art, and Everything in Between

My creative side found another home in architecture. I’ve always loved drawing, building, and imagining spaces, so studying architecture felt like a natural path. Along the way, I discovered that creativity doesn’t have to fit in one box, while studying, I also started cooking more and sharing recipes online. What began as a passion soon became a second calling.

Today, I’ve completed my architecture studies, but my days are filled with what I love most, cooking, creating, and telling stories through food and design.

My Passions

Cooking will always be my greatest passion, but I’m equally drawn to architecture, travel, lifestyle, and fashion. These aren’t separate interests for me, they’re all part of how I express myself and connect with others. Whether I’m designing a space, plating a dish, or capturing a photo, I’m always searching for beauty, harmony, and meaning.

Creating & Sharing

Content creation has become my favorite creative outlet. I love filming recipe videos, experimenting with photography, and sharing glimpses of my journey online. Each project is a chance to inspire others to find joy in everyday moments, just like that little girl who once baked a chocolate cake to make her family smile.

Today & Tomorrow

Now, I dedicate my time to cooking, designing, and creating content that blends my passions for food, lifestyle, and creativity. What excites me most about the future is continuing to bring all these worlds together, architecture, food, storytelling, and building a life that inspires others to do what they love wholeheartedly.
