- Step 1: Prepare the PotatoesRub the potatoes with oil and salt. Poke holes using a fork, then wrap them in aluminum foil.
- Step 2: Bake the PotatoesPlace in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for 1 hour.
- Step 3: Cook the BeefIn a pan, sauté chopped onions. Add the chopped beef and season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour in a little water, cover, and cook for 10 minutes. Add tomato paste and about 360 ml (1½ cups / 12 fl oz) hot water. Cover and simmer for 30–40 minutes, checking every 15 minutes and adding water if needed.
- Step 4: Prepare the Creamy Onion SauceRemove the beef from the pan. In the same pan, melt butter, add chopped onions, and pour in heavy cream. Stir until smooth.
- Step 5: Assemble the Stuffed PotatoesRemove baked potatoes from the oven. Cut off the top about ¾ of the way up and scoop out the inside into a bowl. Mash the potato filling, season, and mix in chopped green onions.
- Step 6: Fill the PotatoesIn the empty potato shells, layer shredded cheese, mashed potatoes, cooked beef, creamy onion sauce, and more shredded cheese on top.
- Step 7: Bake AgainPlace stuffed potatoes back in the oven and bake for 10–15 minutes, until the cheese melts and turns golden.
- Step 8: ServeGarnish with extra chopped green onions and serve hot.
