- Step 1: Make the SauceMix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, chopped pickles, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Set aside.
- Step 2: Caramelize the OnionsCook sliced onions in butter and neutral oil over low heat for about 20 minutes until soft and golden.
- Step 3: Shape the PattiesForm 4 patties from the ground beef and season with salt and pepper.
- Step 4: Cook the PattiesCook the patties in a hot pan. While cooking, spread yellow mustard on one side. Flip and top each with cheddar cheese. Use 2 patties per burger.
- Step 5: Toast the BunsToast the buns in the same pan with a little butter or oil until golden.
- Step 6: Assemble the BurgersSpread sauce on the bottom bun, add tomato slices, lettuce, 2 patties with melted cheddar, caramelized onions, and more sauce. Close with the top bun and serve immediately.
