Ingredients
 
 

  • 500 g Chicken breast
For the seasoning:
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
For the chicken marinade:
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
For coating:
  • 60 g crushed cornflakes
For the hot honey garlic sauce:
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 4 tbsp sriracha adjust to taste
  • 2-3 tbsp water

Method
 

  1. Prep the oven and chicken: Preheat oven to 200°C (392°F) and season chicken with the spice mix.
  2. Make the marinade: In a bowl, whisk eggs + sriracha.
  3. Coat the chicken: Dip chicken into the egg mix, then coat with crushed cornflakes.
  4. Bake the tenders: Bake on a tray for 20–25 min (until golden and cooked through).
  5. Prepare the sauce: Melt butter, sauté garlic, then add soy sauce, paprika, honey, sriracha & water. Let it simmer until slightly thick.
  6. Toss the tenders: Coat the crispy tenders in the hot honey garlic sauce.
  7. Make the cheesy dip (optional): Melt gouda with soy cream, add salt and parsley, mix until creamy.
