Ingredients
 
 

For the cannelloni:
  • 20 cannelloni tubes
For the Filling:
  • 350 g ricotta
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 100-150 g shredded mozzarella
  • 50 g grated Parmesan
  • Fresh basil leaves chopped
  • salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
For the Tomato Sauce:
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 6 garlic cloves crushed
  • 100-150 g crushed tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup soy cream
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
For the Ground Beef:
  • 300 g ground beef
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • Large saucepan
  • Frying pan

  • Spatula or wooden spoon
  • Piping bag or spoon for filling cannelloni

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Filling
    In a bowl, mix ricotta, cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, Parmesan, chopped basil, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Step 2: Cook the Ground Beef
    In a pan, sauté the ground beef until browned. Add tomato paste, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5–7 minutes, then set aside.
  3. Step 3: Make the Sauce
    In a saucepan, melt butter and sauté crushed garlic until fragrant. Add crushed tomatoes, soy cream, and water. Season with paprika, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Assemble & Bake
    Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F). Fill uncooked cannelloni with the cheese mixture and place them in a baking dish. Pour the sauce on top, add the cooked ground beef, sprinkle a little mozzarella, and bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbly. Serve hot.
