Baklava Rolls (Dubai Chocolate Version)

Ingredients
 
 

Filling
  • 250-300 g kunefe angel hair
  • butter for cooking
  • 300 g pistachio cream
  • 1 tbsp tahini
Assembly
  • Yufka pastry leaves baklava sheets
  • Melted butter for brushing
  • 2 tbsp pistachio mixture per roll
Finishing touch
  • Black or milk chocolate melted
  • Pistachio powder for sprinkling

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Filling
    Cut the kunefe into small pieces. Cook with butter in a pan until golden brown. Transfer to a bowl and add pistachio cream and 1 tbsp tahini. Mix well.
  2. Step 2: Assemble the Rolls
    Cut the yufka sheet in half. Take one half, brush with melted butter, then place another sheet on top and brush again. Spread 2 tablespoons of the pistachio mixture evenly. Roll the sheet tightly into a log. Brush with more butter.
  3. Step 3: Bake the Rolls
    Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  4. Step 4: Add the Finishing Touches
    Drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkle with pistachio powder. Let cool before serving.
